Any responsible software provider will be taking every possible precaution to safeguard your data, treating your data as if it were their own. At the very least the application itself should be secured using secure certificate technology, the trusted padlock in the browser address bar, and only properly authorised users should have access to that system, usually protected by secure passwords. These passwords should be encrypted when being transferred over the network, and all credentials which are stored in the database should be encrypted also.
All passwords within RentPro are encrypted using one-way algorithms which means that they cannot be reversed and recovered. All sensitive data such as bank account details is stored in encrypted format on our servers and the servers themselves are hosted in the highly secure Amazon Web Services data centre in Dublin, which are extremely well protected both physically and digitally.
RentPro Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZA006617), and conforms to the legal obligations laid out in the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. This governs everything relating to the physical storage and security of your data, as well as how this data is used.
