When a deposit is returned from the Deposit Protection Scheme to record this within RentPro:
Go to the Property associated with Security Deposit > Tenancies Tab
Click on spreadsheet icon against relevant tenancy, then click on edit icon
Change the State of the Security Deposit to Returned
If the full deposit is being returned leave this marked as Yes, adjust the date to reflect the date returned and then click Update
This will then reflect that the tenant received the full deposit back from the Deposit Protection Scheme.
If the full deposit is not being returned then select No, and record the amount that is being returned to the letting agency, along with the relevant information requested. Again if any notes need to be made these can also be recorded. Once completed click Update.
