On occasion, particularly if a property is operating under a guaranteed rent arrangement, your agency may wish to absorb the cost of a property repair / trouble ticket.
This option in now available within RentPro by selecting the 'Paid by agency?' option when completing the ticket.
When selected, the actual cost will no longer be deducted from the landlord balance of the associated property - though details of the works will still appear in relevant landlord statements. Instead, when payment is made to the supplier for the ticket activity, the payment value will appear as a debit in management and maintenance revenue reports.
Note: If a landlord has a login they will be able to see on the Trouble Ticket section for their properties the cost that was put as the Actual Cost for the repair work carried out.
