Email Consent Indicator
Check this box if the landlord consents to be contacted, via email, with information not directly related to his current business relationship with your letting agency. (Note that it is perfectly acceptable to contact a landlord, via email, in all matters pertaining to your business relationship.)
Maintenance Commission & Maintenance Fee
Maintenance charges are fees applied by your letting agency to manage repairs on properties owned by the landlord. Such maintenance charges consist of two components:
- Maintenance Commission - This is a percentage of the actual cost of performing the repair / maintenance activity on a property.
- Maintenance Fee - This is a fixed cost applied to each repair / maintenance activity completed on a property.
The maintenance charges applied by your letting agency can consist of either, both or none of the components. If one or both components of the maintenance charges are not applied by your letting agency then simply set the value to zero.
Note that it is possible to override the fees applied to a maintenance activity instance.
The value of this field should be agreed between you and the landlord. Its value relates to maintenance activities performed by your letting agency on properties owned by the landlord. If the estimated value of the maintenance activity exceeds the Maintenance Threshold then agreement is required from the landlord before the maintenance activity can commence.
